"You No Longer Get My Sunshine": Edwina's Divorce Story
THE INTUITIVE DIVORCE PODCAST

"I got my voice back! This journey was such a challenge, but you would call to check on me at exactly the right moments and I'd think, 'How did you know what I was dealing with?' It was magical. And the women in the group — I was consistently impressed by how open and honest they were. I love what I've learned, and I'm going to keep it for life."

~Edwina W.

I’m going to share a conversation I recently had with a mother that I think will inspire you.

I’ll admit that this is both my favorite and least favorite part of my work. How can that be? Well, this fierce mama bear who walks beside women as they navigate the darkest days of their lives eventually has to toss them out of the nest because they are ready to fly.

And fly into their new life chapters they do.

My heart smiles and sighs because, like taking a kid to college for the first time, you know it’s time and you’re so excited and still, saying goodbye stings.

That’s why we don’t say goodbye...we say, “See you later and make sure you tell me everything that unfolds, all your successes, all your happiness, all your new everything — sometimes that’s new love, new babies, new homes, new jobs, new awakenings and beginnings.”

That’s all there for you too, mama, on the other side of this divorce. It’s where your freedom and life await you.

It’s where you stop pretending, suffocating, pasting on a happy face and pretending you are OK. It’s where you lay that burden down.

These mothers are no different than you. They came to me in various phases of overwhelm, anxiety, fear, uncertainty, isolation and upset. They called me crying from their cars, hiding in closets, sitting on park benches, from their offices or anywhere else they could escape to — each making desperate pleas.

The difference?

They knew they needed support. They knew they wanted prudent divorce strategy to save time, money and heartache. But they also knew that there was more to it all — that they could divorce differently — that they could divorce smarter, heal faster, protect their kids and reclaim their lives.

They wanted a better path to a better divorce.

That’s an Intuitive Divorce. It’s where women are putting their needs into the equation as a priority, not an afterthought.

They’re getting calm, clear and trusting their own intuition. They’re guiding their teams, showing up for their kids and filling their own cups because they understand that it’s all interconnected.

I know this all sounds good — maybe like pretty sentiments in a greeting card. So, don’t just take my word for it, hear it from a woman who graduated from the program.

Edwina is a believer in possibility.

Come sit with me for a few minutes, grab a cup of coffee, take me on a walk with you or listen in your car...however you do it, gift yourself a moment to breathe in Edwina’s story. You know why? Because if she can do it, so can you.
